I drew this last week.

This is related to my fanfic (though Link and Navi's attitudes are more gruff/blunt than in the story...but in the fic, boy does Zelda love teasing Link, never satisfying his curiosity on the matter.) and it is also canon to the games.

I my fanfic I decided not to assign a gender to Sheik (trying to write this in such a way that never needs the likes of "him" or "her" with Sheik is...fun... ) I was in no mood for a gender debate and I wanted to be sure fans of either opinion could equally enjoy the story, I did not want fem Sheik fans to be turned away by a male Sheik and vice versa.
-I did have Zelda react with anger at first to Link's question in the fanfic, but that can be translated as either the form being male and she is uncomfortable on the matter, or the form is female and she is mad that Link even has to ask.

As for my stance on the matter? I like the character shown both ways, and it does not tweak me out to think the form of Sheik could be physically male considering the entire point of Ranma 1/2 is Ranma can turn into a chick, and then there was Dilandau in Escaflowne...gender bending is not new to me.
... My only gripe is huge boobs on Sheik because regardless of physical gender Zelda was trying to pass herself off as male... and even when in the dress she does not have huge hoonkers people <_<;
Fem Sheik is awesome but show the character some respect and keep the lady lumps subtle is all I ask XD
