Description
This here is a creature of Chinese mythology, a Longma, which literally translates to "Dragon Horse" (well more like Pegasus Dragon as it is commonly depicted with wings) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longma
This was a semi-artistic liberty commission. We worked together to pick the colors and to re-work the markings to better suit what was doable for me to recreate in costume form. The Starburst Candy color scheme was purely by accident and not realized until I was actually eating said candy while working on it XD
The tail is wired so it sways and bobs as you move and can be posed. The antlers are removable via magnets and handcrafted of a very light clay. I used the pink jumble fur to get a head start on the desired spotted areas and applied the other spot colors by hand.
The wings are actually from "FlutterFail" my botched attempted at a Fluttershy quadsuit which for whatever reason just failed to come together properly. The wings snap on via magnets, inside the body is a pocket that holds the opposing set of magnets. The wings stay on very well with magnets alone but a clip up top keeps them from popping off if jolted hard enough.
