caught their feral mama a mere 4 days before giving birththey will be left with their mom untill their eyes are open and they begin to get mobile, after that they will be bottle raised so they do not imprint on their wild mother so they can be raised as pets.

They're lovely. Two of the strays that we feed just had kittens (one of them was meant to be spayed but the vet said she was too small-thanks a bunch vet . . .) We've only got one orange,the others are tortoishell, tabby and black and white. The mothers are quite tame, so I think the kittens will make good pets

Its so great that you caught the mom. If these kittens were born in the wild, they would of become more victims of over population, just doing what they do naturally, breed and make more kittens. If you don't mind me asking what do you plan to do with the mother?

she will be spayed and put back just like the rest of the colony i have trapped
but first she is going to raise these babies for 1-2 months

I just want to say good job on this. There are some people out there with some pretty screwed up ideas regarding cats (like buying new kittens from pet stores or breeders instead of adopting, just shooting or poisoning feral cats, or not spaying neutering because they don't want to spend the money/don't think you should.)
Adopting and neutering wild colonies is really the only right path. Keep up the good work.

they are VERY tiny, smallest newborns i have ever seen, but their mom is also very small and has one of the smallest heads i have seen on an adult cat.
