another "i was bored at school" drawing. i was trying to make a realistic dragon, i think it looks real enough both image/style wise and anatomy wise. done with NO references, i just pulled things from memory as i do after all study and own many animals (i think you can see the iguanna influence here) i have been complimented on having a very photograohic memory, i mean when i look at the neat intercate marks of a turtles shell or the way a crane curves its neck i am not just observing it but also storing that imagry into the confines o f my creative mind.any way, yeah i hope you like him cuase i do

Almost all of my dragons are drawn at school. not anywhere as good as this though.

i really like how the scales and fur work together. usually dragons with both tend to look a little weird, but this fits together well.
the dragon looks a bit surprised. is there something happening off-screen?

He's awesome! I especially like how the eyes are drawn. They look very... I don't know what the word is, but it's a very nice feel.
