i make them usuing bouncy balls

and where could i find these bounncy balls? ive looked for some before but i never found any at michels and stuff

try party supply places or toy stores
the ones i use have a piece of paper in the middle, i use a carpet knife to cut into the seam of the ball just down the rim of the paper and then the 2 halves should just pop apart.
it is best to paint right onto the back of each half as i tried printing out a detailed iris of a real eye BUT you can only see it from a front view as from the side the image dissapears.
i coat the eyes in some "gloss acrylic gel medium" to shine them up as rubber balls tend to get hazy and attract dust (if the ball looks hazy then try getting it wet, if it goes clear then the clear acyrlic will fix it)
clear spray paint however does not work as it clouds the eye.
