This is Ettin, Cayran's little magician. A guy who is too adorable for his own good; looking at him makes people want to pinch his cheeks and do bad things with him at the same time. I bet he even tastes sweet. Like vanilla or blueberry or something.
And I'm gonna go and treat myself to a chocolate chip cookie for defying my artblock. Drawing a cute "twink" was just the thing I needed ♥

And, who says you can't draw a twink? You did an excellent job on this.
The colors in this totally made me dropped my jaw (hard on the floor, and it rolled off under my bed, rested at the deepest. It took a moment for me to snap it back in place.) The combination of gray, purple and blue is pleasing to the eyes. And the details of the fur, just calculating effort you'd put on it made my head spin. Awesome work, Nin.

Nin, this is beautiful. I love your style so much! It's so similar how I've always wanted my style to be, but can't seem to translate from my mind to paper. I can tell everything about this character just by looking at the body language and expression you drew. Ugh, I'm just so envious. I'm going to have to try to copy his head in my sketchbook to get the feel of how headfur SHOULD look. XD

your welcome! yep I don't work with color very much because I'm partialy color blind, bold colors I see just fine but some of the subteler shades I just don't see at all
(thgought "acrue" was a joke for YEARS!), but oh my when they work the
results can be splendid!

You just can't even imagine the smile that formed when I saw this in my inbox. He is far more beautiful than I could have ever depicted him to be, and to be honest, I can't even really describe just how much I love this drawing! c:
He is perfect; absolutely perfect! You made him look so teeny-tiny and childlike, but nevertheless made him look somewhat his age. People are always figuring this 20 year old youngster to be 15 or so after all, and I LOVE how you've captured that quality. I also love how you did his black highlights; usually they are scattered all over his head, but the look you gave him might just have to stick! Can I just say that I also adore just how shiny and suckable his little lips are, and the blue highlights really make him pop. GOD. I love it all. Everything about it. There isn't a thing about it that doesn't scream Ettin. You are a doll, you know that?

I admit I had a hard time choosing between Ettin and Colline, but since I'm going to draw Colline anyway and I've wanted to draw Ettin for quite some time, I picked Ettin. He's such a darling boy and it pleases me to know that I managed to give a fair presentation. Even though I took a slight artistic liberty with his headfur. I couldn't make the 'scattered black highlights' work, no matter how many times I tried. Glad you liked the alternative all the same
