The Buk Waterfall in Rastoke (Croatia)Rastoke is a unique creation of nature formed where the Slunjčica river flows into the Korana. As if nature was playing with the blue-green waters of the Slunjčica, the river cascades down into numerous playful waterfalls of different size. In their formation, Rastoke is an introduction to the Plitvice Lakes.
There was a lot of rain this year, even now during the summer, it was never like that before. Because of this there is a big flood of water and the waterfall creates fog.

These are all natural waterfalls, water mills are hundreds of years old. I recommend you to visit if you'll be able.
I understand a little Russian, because it's Slavic language similar to the Croatian language. I can't say that I speak, the more I understand reading because I was learning the Cyrillic alphabet in school. But I'm happy if I can write something in Russian. It's pretty hard with my keyboard, but I try. I have many Russian friends, mainly musicians and they usually laugh when I am writing

I certainly will when I am. The Southern Slavic countries have since some recent times been calling to me.
From the comment I saw, I thought you were a native speaker of Russian! So you might be underestimating your grammar skills
I have tried reading in Croatian and understood surprisingly much. I did not realise so many words were similar. It would be an interesting experience to learn another Slavic language, something I haven't yet had the chance to do, but wanted to.
Among the Slavic languages I'm familiar with Ukrainian is the one I can understand least of all and Belarusian most. I can grasp some Serbian and Polish as well.

Well, it's good to know a few language, if you have time and money for courses.
I've never studied English,everything I know I learned on the Internet
Croatian and Serbian are the same language,differences are in some words.
Eg: for the watch, in Croatian is ''sat'', in Serbian is ''čas'', but we understand each other very well.

Wow, it's "čas" in Russian as well. It's interesting that while many words are the same in Russian and Serbian, word stress shifts forward in the latter. Ex., "moJA sestrA" for "my sister" in Russian and "mOja sEstra" in Serbian.
