I've seen a wonderful amount of people raising awareness for Japan; girls wearing badges for them at school, people on livejournal percure keeping track of whose reported that they're safe from the cast, and I found it amazing to see how quickly and how much art has been made on deviantart for them too. I will be joining them.It really is tragic; the earthquake, tsunami, death toll of 300, 500 missing, and now they've had that explosion at the nuclear reactor. It's awful.
But, I'm happy to be part of a community that cares. Hearts go out to Japan and God bless everyone over there, and everyone who has the heart to care. Thank you. x

Edit: I'm gonna have to say this, because I think it's important (but it's not pointing the finger at anyone); I want people to look past the picture, past my crappy handiwork, past the fact that I used Hetalia (which I'm owrried some people may think is offensive), and think about what the picture means. i`m happy that everyone of the hetalia actors are okay!!! i hope japan the country itself will do okay because they were doing so well in their economy and everything and then the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant explosions messed things up quite a bit for them. i hope everything will end up okay for them!!!

I hope so too! I didn't hear anything from the actors; just what I saw very briefly on someone's dA journal. It's wonderful to know that someone is still thinking of them! I haven't heard anything about it since it happened!

same here not much to find about them after it happened. and how can someone even forgot about something like that is sad. i can`t really contribute to them that much as others can though because i`m not very rich in the money department, and we are currently moving but i still pray and draw art for it! and in history class my teacher ditched about 8 days of already plan lectures and made new ones all about japan and helping them out!!! i liked my history teacher he was nice.

Sure thing! I actually found something to do with Japan in a magazine I'm reading; apparently a shop called 'lush' is making soap with the Japanese flag on it and selling them, then sending all the money raised from them to Japan to help with the effort!
