This is my youngest cat Monty. He's the most...human-like animal I've ever met in my life. Since I've had him, I've considered him more like an annoying little brother than a pet. He does things just to make me mad, I KNOW he understands me and his face is very...expressive. This is his annoyed face. He was bird watching and I kept calling him to get his attention because I wanted to take a picture, then finally he looked with that "WHAT!?!" expression. I love him

He's a flat-out mutt. I don't know what his dad was but his mom...well...I don't remember her that well but she wasn't grey, and none of the other cats in the litter were grey either. My mom and I have an argument going about what's in him, because despite being a mutt, the grey coat is very specific to only four breeds (Russian Blue, Chartreux, Korat and Blue British Shorthair) so he's got to have one of those in him. My mom says he's a Russian Blue but I say he's a Korat. He's built hearty...very muscular, and he weighs a lot more than he looks. He's chatty, obnoxious (in a hilarious adorable way) and is OBSESSED WITH ME.

I'm the only one in the family he bonded to, and though he's nice to everyone else, I'm the only one he cuddles with. When he cuddles, he CUDDLES. He worms his way into my arms if I'm reading and sometimes in the middle of the night I'll wake up and he's on my chest with that Cheshire Cat smile of his, purring and drooling. He drools. A lot. And it smells. If I push him to the end of the bed he slowly crawls closer and closer like he thinks I won't notice haha. And if I physically push him, he pushes right back and tries to overpower me. I don't think I could do a single thing to this cat to make him hate me. And you know when you can just sense someone staring at you across the room? He does that to me all the time. Sometimes I just feel inclined to look at him and when I do, he's staring at me. It's so creepy the way he stares. He's like a possessive boyfriend. When he was younger he used to attack boys that came near me. I kicked that habit but it was kind of funny. He's sweet though and I love him, but he's annoying sometimes. Totally worth it.
