Very cool -- it's almost as if that squirrel in the background is a "visual echo" of the one in the foreground! Wonderful! And you got the lighting so that you can see the center of the front squirrel's tail too. Excellent shot!

After looking at them both several times, I think I like this one better. Partly the "visual echo" effect of the second squirrel (which is even darker than the front squirrel, which enhances the "echo" effect, as if it were "softer") that I mentioned above. But also, in this photo, the curvy line connecting the two squirrels leads the eye nicely through the picture. In the other photo, that line is broken, and instead of one long continuous line leading through the picture, you get the main line in front and then a somewhat distracting line in the background, which isn't at all connected to the front line. In short: I think the composition on this one is better -- it leads the eye really well! Great shot!
