They are so adorable! But why does the pixie on the left (they are pixies, yeah? Or is this the long-awaited sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Elves? I hope not. The first one was a real stinker), the pixie kneeling on the ground, look so melancholy and forlorn? Did she lose her flute? Can she not play the flute? I think not and I think she can. I would like to think that the other two pixies are playing their flutes to raise her spirits. That still doesn't explain to me why she's sad, especially since she has the cute, striped stockings that are clearly superior to the stockings worn by her friends. But none of us need an excuse to be blue, do we — or blau, for that matter (not that I would know anything about that). But is that it? Is she hung over? Well, if that's the case, listening to her friends play their flutes is not going to help — quite the opposite. No wonder she looks so bleak. Our little friend needs an omelette, some fried potatoes, and three thick Bloody Marys that are spicy but not too heavy on the vodka. If that doesn't work, have call me directly on my cell phone and I will prescribe her a further regime of treatment, but I have to sign off the computer now. Tell her that I hope her hangover is gone when I return, and that I hope she has learned a valuable lesson about drinking too much.

It is a wonderful piece. Great colors. Exquisite detail. And they're just too, too cute. Well done!
