That is actually very true, most people see the darkness too negatively, almost evil, considering it holds too many wonders. I particulary enjoy night more than day but in the end both are needed right?

However, the lighting is off on the girl...like the light source is coming from the opposite side.

SyFy is the name of the Science Fiction channel, that shows Star Trek and space documentaries, plus the occasional Twilight Zone marathon. Most of it consists of original series and movies, which all suck to the point where they make small children cry. The plotlines are repetative and predictable: There's a weird creature. It gorily kills a bunch of people for no particular reason. A lot of people die horribly, horribly bad-written deaths. Some dude starts dating some hoochy in the end.

I only get national tv at my place xD besides I've never been too much of a fan of sci-fi, more of a fantasy person xD Exactly because of that, I found most to be the same thing over and over again with a few different elements but nothing really interesting.

Within Temptation is just amazing. They come in a close second to Evanescence. 
Mind cluing me in on how this style of art is done? The only way I can think of to do it is by using the Pen Tool in Photoshop. I'm pretty good with that tool, but even then, it'd take forever

For light sources layers and burn/dodge are great, as well as the layer properties (color, multiply, etc) and the smudge tool is to take care of the crappy edges xP
