So yeah. Ash going to college? I got a lot of skeptics when Edison first started takling about it... turns out Brock and Dawn share the same sentiment. XD And really, who can blame them? Ash is clever, but not really book smart. But hey, Professor Oak has faith in him, that's gotta mean something, right?

Almost a week late, and THIS is the result. :C Sorry guys, school and work have both been eating my time faster than a weeping angel.
And yes, I'm well aware that Ash has apparently been crossed with a giraffe. Hopefully his elongated neck deformity will not be there come page 13 XD

Oh, and btw, yes. Dawn DID get up and walk over to ash just so she could make that face at him. She's hardcore.
Oh, and Pikachu doesn't disappear in panel 3. He just... uh... walked away. YEAH. (fscking consistency HOW DOES IT WORK)

Actually, that's a good question.Β When IS Ash going to continue his education?
(Heh.Β That's actually got me thinking.Β If Pokemon battles were just part of some highly televised High-school or College extra circular activity, instead of the "Pokemon Journey" stuff we got now, that might explain why all the NPC trainers have 2-4 pokemon each, often of the same species:Β Β They don't let kids become trainers and walk around the woods to be attacked by Psychotic Pikachus....sorry, Oliver, too soon...... and instead every kid only has a few either given by their parents or which they formed a unique bond with before going to boarding school.Β Or maybe they even bought them with money, like that Magikarp in Red/Blue.Β Point is, actually having a full group of six different types would be a rarity, and they would be local from the hometown or related to a certain profession, or otherwise thematically complimenting each other.Β It would also mean that almost no trainer has hundreds of unremembered Pokemon rotting in the box....)
