Hi,
I am just back from Northern Uganda where I have started putting in place a counseling/Art Therapy service in an orphanage for former child soldiers and war orphans.
I have just finished editing a short movie clip I made while I was there. As you’ll see, I am no Coppola or iMovie genius, but I think it’s still OK. Well, it’s real! And have no fear, it’s not all doom and gloom, there’s a fun happy ending!
I’d really appreciate if you could forward it to everybody you know, and if possible, ask them to do the same. Hopefully it’ll help to promote the awareness and the sponsorship of war orphans at POCP.

One of the main goals of the Kony 2012 campaign was to make Joseph Kony famous. I believe they have succeeded in that respect.
The two videos prompted actual, official policymakers and politicians to make their own video, explaining what has been done and will be done to stop the Lord's Resistance Army.
There is a book co-authored by a woman named Grace Akallo, who as a child was abducted by the LRA, but later escaped and graduated from Gordon College in Massachusetts. Anyone who wants solid information should look it up, the title is "Girl Soldier: A Story of Hope for Northern Uganda's Children".

Let me educate you, I have done an extensive amount of research on this subject.
1) less than one third of the profits from this "campaign' actually goes to uganda and even then that amount finds itself in the hands of the ugandan military (who are notorious for their looting, rapes, drug trafficking, etc)
2) The people in invisible children live a lavished lifestyle and as we have seen the founder has used funds to fuel a drug and alcohol induced nude jerk off party.
3) you children are jumping on the bandwagon without fully grasping the situation, you do not have a full understanding of what is going on.
If you want to help uganda fly out there yourself and help firsthand
4) occupying africa for this is a pro war stance, this is just an excuse to get troops into africa for a much larger military operation.

Thats because the rest of it has to go toward RUNNING the company, it's not as easy as people think trying to organise these things. Now, I'm not looking for a flame war or anything lol, but how do you expect these people to organise large conventions, promote themselves and what they stand for, hire the correct people etc etc, all these things require funding.
