Flirtatious
Shinji can often be found flirting or being a 'ladies man' wherever he goes. It is rare to find him choosing favorites over whom he would treat or pay more attention to, and if he does seem to be favoring someone it may mean hes taken a special interest in that person ;D However the likely-hood of him becoming attached to someone is very unlikely as he isn't the type to take responsibilities.

Laid Back
Even though he will flirt at just about whatever chance he can, the man tends to have a fairly laid back attitude to just about any and everything else. unless it really interests him he wont be seen putting serious effort into the task.

Caring
As much as this guy can flirt and laze about, its not like he doesn't have a heart. He does care about others well beings and it is his belief that all are to be treated as if someone special, hence why he often is called 'flirtatious' he simply believes he's making these people feel special. However unless he feels it absolutely necessary for him to do something for someone he wont go too out of his way for others.

Open minded
Having an open mind, Shinji is pretty much okay with a lot of things. Although the few things that he firmly believes in wont go down so easily for him without a fight. If someone does, acts or says against his beliefs he will show at the least, irritation and wont hesitate to try and set things right with said person.

Playful
Always trying to lighten the mood, the man will often joke or mess around with others playfully. Not really one for gloomy moods, he will often be the one to turn the mood right back around either with some kindness, playfulness or perhaps both.

History : Shinji was born into a fairly common family of four, being the first born and elder brother to his younger brother who soon followed. Though only two years apart the two weren't close close, but nor were they at each others throats. At the age of 9 Shinji started noticing how his Father would often sneak around their mother and lie about working late when actually he was elsewhere. A year after noticing, Shinji spotted his father cheating on his mother on another woman and didn't know what to make of the situation, and whether to tell his mother or not. It wasn't too long after that his mother had found out about their fathers cheating, and after arguing with him they soon got divorced, their mother being of course the one who got to keep Shinji and his brother.

The impact that those 3 years had on the boy, was pretty strong. After watching his mother suffer from feeling unloved and unappreciated by the one she thought loved her, a seething anger had developed within the boy towards his father.
'Why did he do that?' 'What about mum?' 'What about us?' 'Why did he have to go and hurt mum?'
Shinji hated his father for what he did, especially since he made his mother cry so much, even after the divorce.
So He vowed never to treat anyone the way his father had treated his mother, to never make anyone cry and suffer the way his mother had.

The years following the divorce were tough and difficult, his mother had to take up a job and start trying to support him and his brother, he helped out wherever he could at home and was quite the 'mama's boy.' As soon as he could start applying for work, anything really, he would head out and take on as many jobs as he could handle inbetween school just to help support his mother and younger brother.

Life was going fairly well for the family once a few years had passed from the divorce, and also because Shinji would be able to help out financially wherever he could. By the time Shinji Graduated from high school his younger brother had started working to help support him and his mother. After high school, Shinji kept bouncing from small casual jobs here and there, still supporting his mother (though not as much as before) when he could, till he decide to move out at the age of 20 upon getting an apprenticeship for being a hair stylist.

Living on his own now he works 4 days a week, most of the day in the nearby salon, and earns enough to support himself and rent an apartment. at the age of 21 now, and one year into his apprenticeship, it was at the salon when he was working on a customers hair that he overheard the chatter of the masked party that happened every Friday night, interested in the place he got the details he needed from chatting with the customer and decided thet the next Friday he could spare, he would go and check the place out.
