This was a drawing I did inspired by the Trayvon Martin case coverage. I personally find the case appalling and rediculous. not only was a kid killed, but he was chased down, after the 911 people told Zimmerman not to go after him, and shot. All because he was wearing a hoodie and "had something in his hands." And that's not even including the possible race element to the case. And then, he goes and pleads self-defence, and, get this...THEY GIVE IT TO HIM! After it was pretty obvious that he was A: carrying a gun when he shouldn't and B: went after the poor kid. However, I don't believe it was right for people to send death threats to Zimmerman, or even who they thought was Zimmerman (Spike Lee needs to learn to think before he tweets, seriously!)Anyway, Edith from Dispicable Me is showing her support for Trayvon in her unity hoodie (a mix of her ususal pink outfit with a hoodie), Skittles, and ice tea. This was by the way, drawn before Zimmerman was arrested.
