So for those that don't know, on the side I sell real replica weapons at comic book conventions -- swords, shields, knives, nothing illegal. Sometimes I cosplay and get into character while I do this. I enjoy cosplay and I have fun working at conventions so why not do both?Lately it wasn't even hard for customers to find our booth. I had this one epic conversation with an attendee who was looking for a weapons booth at Anime North 2014:
Attendee: "I finally found this booth!!!"
Me: "We've been here all weekend"
Attendee: "I've been asking around 'where's the best place in the con to buy weapons?' And everyone said, 'Find the guy dressed as Avatar Aang selling swords. You can't miss him'"
