As for the critique, can't really think any. Maybe different color for the splatter might be more effective, like blood red color. But that's just my personal opinion.

the splashing details are quite well bonded with the rest of the image. i like the flowing feel to it. it captures a lot of movement, probably due to the flickring hair, and the splashing really enhances the dinamics of it. it would make a great poster! a job well done!
