Description When I saw the Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden manga, I just had to draw Tomite! ^^ I decided to draw Takiko, the Genbu miko as well, but Tomite was definately more fun to draw. I took some artistic liberties with this one, since I had to finish it without any reference. I also decided to color Tomite with tanned skin, like how it was done in the anime. I was also inspired by this Japanese Artist [link] . ^_^

I've read the manga and I feel sorry for both Takiko and Tomite.
Tomite was in love with her, but she loved uruki...
I thought for sure tomite and her would get togeter, sadly I was wrong. Why does Tomite have to die? He was my favorite. Same with Takiko, why did she have to die? I know she had the same disease as her mom and her dad killed her before she could be completely devoured by genbu. Would you happen to know anything about Uruki? Did he survive. I think his dad has the same disease as Takiko and her mom.
