i used photoshop 7.
i used the gradient tool and overlapped the sketches (since each of the members are drawn on separate pieces of paper.)

Ooo I really like this design/concept/gradient. The sketchiness is like...it adds quality to the overall graphic. ^_^ Good job!!
If you don't mind me asking..how exactly did you do that? Did you use the gradient tool to overlap the sketch and tweaked things up using the filter option? Or is it more intricate than that?
