For , who wanted Holmes and Watson from BBC's Sherlock series, played by the hilariously-monikered Benedict Cumberbatch and that adorable buttermuffin Martin Freeman, respectively.This is the first time I've ever drawn any Holmes or Watson, and I loved it! They both have really strange, wonderful faces. And any excuse to do fun hair texture is A-OK with me.

Strange, wonderful faces sums it up. Some people refer to Cumberbatch as "hot" which I don't really think does him any justice. He's not "hot" he's "beautiful".
Also, "adorable buttermuffin Matin Freeman". Hahaha, that made me so happy.

I'm glad Sherlock has started again on the BBC, it means I get to see Mr Cumberbatch all dapper in those lovely clothes again! Can't wait for the next series, the cliffhanger on season 1 actually killed me a little inside! XD

Oh, I'm so happy to see that you've tackled these two. They came out wonderfully and for reasons possibly known only to me, I have to share that the texture on Sherlock's coat reminds me of a texture tool thingie that was included in a crayola desk playset I had as a child. That, along with the fact that I'm an unrepentant Holmes fan makes this a total win. Thank you for sharing.

I really like this style! Nice darks and great eyebrows on both. Benedict Cumberbatch is a cool name, when we went by 'Carlton' he didn't get noticed! Now once you know the name, you don't forget it!
