Next prompt in my Hatter25 challenge: "repair".That is Reggie's coat Alice is sewing up, of course. Probably tore it whilst hanging in the tree outside Alice's window.
The sofa is an old favorite chiyogami pattern which turned out very nicely. I've been stuck on that sunny yellow filter lately, and I like it here. The background I'm sort of iffy about. Another case of being too lazy to do it up proper.
Garden Of Kama is a collection of Indian love poetry collected by Laurence Hope in 1919. Most of it's innocuous, but it can get pretty passionate, cha know.

I love Alice's expression. To me it's kind of a "Yeah, yeah. You just keep telling yourself that" look. Though of course things have changed in the official storyline to make it so that maybe... just maybe... YAY!

One of my absolute favorites. I feel like it really captures something about their relationship. Reggie's probably reading the poems backwards or something and Alice is taking it in stride.

how to artists make their pictures look like they've been dipped in orange juice; that kind of warm slightly pinky sepia effect? its gorgeous - but I don't gerrit - hows it done?!

I think this one's just done with brown lines and warm colors, but you can get the orange juice effect (I like your metaphor by the way) by making a new layer in Photoshop, filling it with orange, and changing the layer style. (I think that's what it's called, the drop-down box in the layer window..) Many of the layer styles work well for that sort of thing~ (You may also want to change the layer opacity.)

My apologies for favouriting almost every piece of your hatter art. I actually enjoy every single piece I add individually, and for different reasons, not just because it's Alice and Reggie. (Just wanted to clear that up.)
