My friend asked me to draw this for her and her girlfriend's four-year anniversary. These are their OC's, sort of their male counterparts, Lex and Bailey, stargazing in an old bathtub they've got in their backyard.Drawing other people's characters is usually an uncomfortable chore, but these two came naturally and were lots of fun. Maybe because I totally adore their creators.

I helped build a set for a show that had a clawfoot tub and all I wanted to do was curl up and take naps in it. Never thought to drag it outside and stargaze...new item on my list of romantic things I must do!

Working in Theatre affords some of the best friends and stories. I'm premiring a one act that was penned by yours truly tonight. It is the best job. Historical reenacting in the summer, dinner theatre in the winter, set building between shows, and late nights year round.
