Structure and AttachmentA few people have been asking how I made my tails for my Popstar Ahri Cosplay, and after a month of working on the tutorial I'm finally done with it! I think this is the part that most people were looking for. This is how I set up the under structure for the tails. The next tutorial is just about putting part 1 and 2 together really, and how I secured it to my body.

Hey! I've never sewn before and tbh I'm terrified. I have no clue what I'm doing, but sewing fabric together rather than making clothes seems like a good place to start. So for the patterning, what did you do? Like, what were the dimensions to fit on 5 yards of fabric?

Hi there!
I haven't had time to make part three, where I go over how I put everything together. But! If you look at step 3, you can see where my main structure was. I ended up placing a seat belt belt (www.insidebjj.com/wp-content/u… on that area and then just wore it on my hips. (So it goes back, tail pvc structure, belt if you were to look at me from a side view).
I don't recommend that for long periods of time, the tails were much heavier than I anticipated and my hips were sore at night. I'd probably add some backpack straps to go with the belt, especially if you are going to wear it for long periods of time.
