Arnold and Helga.Because its so cuteeee!
I always thought it was so sad Helga had to walk to preschool by herself, get her lunch stolen by a stray dog and get splashed with mud
But then Arnold comes with an Umbrella and it becomes all adorable and such

It was a flashback, on why she's so mean and anti-social.
They're in middle school during the actual show.
They don't make cartoons like they did, with characters that actually had DEPTH.

I really like Nicktoons, but unfortunately I didn't see many of the classics, since I didn't get Dish until 6th grade :/

I grew up on solid Nicktoons
and really funny shaped heads or stuff is something I look for in cartoons, I don't like them uber realistic.
There were some really good cartoons... like some of the background stories can still make me cry!

What separates classic Nickelodeon shows like "Hey Arnold!" from most of the current-day shows is character development that taps into our hearts, and Helga Pataki was definitely one of the most developed Nicktoon characters conceived.

I agree, Helga was much more than your average everyday one-sided bully. She had great character depth, I really miss "Hey Arnold!" and other classic nick shows like this
