History: Her father, was overthrown and killed by Nightmare Moon during her rebellion against Celestia. Her father was one of the lords of order by that time but during that time, she was still very young and when her father died, one of his ministers, whom were raising a grudge against the light emperor and stole his daughter after a few days when he died. She was raised as a dark twisted girl and slowly developed memory loss each day. She couldn't remember her past at all, other than Celestia.

Now she lived at Manhattan to keep the missing heir to her father's throne a secret, until one pony came to spread the word after a few years.

No one actually knew that one of the lords of order had a daughter, which was basically forbidden for a lord to own a child. So he hid it, fro everyone else's eyes. The mother died from giving birth to the heir and was buried near the Castle Grounds.

The pony who was sent to spread the news, after so many years, was killed, by the minister who stole Gravelyn because he knew that the dark twisted girl was having flashbacks since she often dozed off now. Gravelyn found out when she found the dead body under their basement and ran away to Ponyville to search for the famous, Twilight Sparkle, since approaching Celestia was a big leap into danger since being the child of a dead lord was forbidden to live, in a way.

She found Twilight but was easily mistaken as King Sombra's offspring since rumors spread about a foal Sombra had raised secretly. They mistook her for the offspring and chased her off the town. Now she lives at the Crystal Empire as one of the guards, hoping to earn enough money to 'change' herself to not be chased off town just because rumors were spreading like wild fire.

She had to know.
She WANTS to know.
