Honestly, how cute is Yachiru's nickname for Yumichika?! This is pretty much the first time we've heard her nickname for it. I'm super glad it's not "Yumi" because that reminds me of bad fanfiction. XD

When did she say Yumichee? (I honestly don't remember her saying it in recent chapters) As far as I know her nickname for him is Yun-Yun that is not to say she doesn't have multiple nick names for people because she does.

I think its made up by the anime team. I've read every Yumichika moment probably 50 times already and she's never addressed him until now.

I don't see much of a problem with the actual name, but I've read too much horrible fanfiction where the writer is lazy and has Ikkaku refer to him as that (even though Ikkaku has never referred to him as that in the actual story line) so I have a distaste for it as a whole. That also is the reason why I prefer "YumIkkaku" over "IkkaYumi'

Well there is a bunch of amazing IkkakuxYumichika fanfiction that I adore, but a lot of the bad ones and most of them have Yumichika called "Yumi"

I've been waiting for her nickname for Yumichika since the SS arc! :lmao I've heard things from Feathers to Weirdo to Yumi to Yun-Yun! I'm glad with what Kubo chose!!
I do admit, I like the idea of YumiYachi a lot, it would be adorable (as soon as she ages at least!!) and I like the dynamic between Ikkaku and Yachiru too. Overall, I love the Eleventh Division a lot because they are all close and its like a big dysfuntional family <3

The Eleventh Division IS one gigantic dysfunctional family! Kenny's the big dad, Yachiru's the adorable daughter, Ikkaku's the picked on brother, and Yumichika is the brother that gets along with everyone, in this case the adorable daughter

Yachiru is loved and adored by all <3 She's one of my fandom weaknesses. There is no way you can write her out-of-character. Someone can never write her to be too odd!! I especially love it when they write Kenpachi to be over-protective. :happybounce
Imagine if Kenpachi found out that Yachiru has a little girl crush on Byakuya!! :lmao

I've read so many fanfics and I absolutely love it whenever the author pencils in Kenpachi being a daddy. It's subtle, but he really cares about her.
Byakuya and Yachiru's interactions are sooo cute!~ Especially in the omake where Yachiru wanted to see his privite life

Yes! ha! I would like to think that Byakuya sees Yachiru as like his little goddaughter, or child he never had...since he does appease to her more than anyone else really.
