How is it working with Toon Boom (especially compared to something like Flash)? Toon Boom is a software package I haven't had the chance to try out yet.

Thank you! Toon Boom is far more advanced than Flash, especially in terms of drawing capability. Helps to know Flash first, though, since you work with vectors in both. I did this animation with very little Flash experience, but it is not nearly complex enough (read: layers, camera, etc.) to test my skills in either program. Hope to do more in the coming months, though!!

'Course, Toon Boom makes cleanliness pretty easy, too. Keep in mind that there was a super-rough layer underneath this that came first.

I tried using Toon Boom, but was more comfortable with Flash.

Heck, people do amazing stuff with Flash, too! Some use Flash as a stepping stone for Toon Boom, because there are parallels, but the latter program is more advanced. Personally, I learned a lot just by making mistakes, reading the manual, and Google-searching what the manual wouldn't tell me.
Still, this is peanuts compared to all the stuff Toon Boom can do! There is much, much more to learn...
