Happy 20th Birthday Pokemon! As a fan I really enjoy Red and Blue, but… everyone knows that the true Pokemon mechanics started in Gold and Silver: colour sprites, day and night, two maps, and a lot of secrets and places to explore! So.. yes, Nintendo, I’m 2nd Gen!

Gen 2 was and still is the best gen, unless you count HeartGold/SoulSilver under Gen 4 in which case maybe Gen 4 x3
