Description

By the middle Ultimocene, bumblets fill a variety of carnivores niches, altought, in continental Serinarcta the pack hunter niche are filled most by the Circuagodogs. In the isolated Dixon island, there were no Circuagodogs when a population of small omnivorous bumblegers get to the island floating in trees.

These bumblets soon capitalized the carnivore niche, outcompeting early egg-eating molodont descendent that evolved to became bigger and to active hunt living prey, remaining today only as their relative small form, usually bigger in this island thanks to insular gigantism.

Bumbledogs are a grade of 3 species of bumbledgers that fill the niche of jackals, foxes and even Wolfs, as the case of the Wolfnary, a specie of high intelligent, social and active hunters of the Dixon Island.

Wolfnarys lives in familiar packs like these of Earth wolfs. They have a much more complex communication pattern and a cultural transmission that differs from different parts and families of the Island. They do not make complex traps like graveddigers, their distant sophont relatives, but can make very clever ambush and cooperate to get their prey. These ambush technics vary and are passed culturally toward the island’s populations.

Some Wolfnarys digger holes in the ground and cooperate to bring their prey to them. Some utilized strategic formation extremely coordinated with their voice signals. Some pushes rocks from high ground while their prey are being cornered by their relatives.

Wolfnarys would probably being destined for bigger things, but when the climate shifts and the first middle Ultimocene Ice age ends, their little Island would be submerged into the water…
