The Derp Side is what I'm calling the series of panel edits and sprites and such related to this SBURB session between me and my friends, and it's part of the Tumblrstuck bandwagon going on.

The basic premise of Tumblrstuck: The Derp Side is that there’s a circle of friends who all read Homestuck and appreciate the fuck out of it. They tumblog about it all the time and basically they be TRUE TOMODACHI YEAH. One day, it turns out the Betty Crocker corporation is actually run by the Batterwitch, who creates SBURB on earth, and it just so happens that this circle of friends is selected to be the beta testers. Naturally, everyone freaks out like OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING WHAT DO???? and naturally, everyone starts playing because curiosity is just too damn strong.

They THINK they can play the game easily since they’ve all participated at least once in a roleplay session on the forums, so they all know the mechanics and such (also there’s the wikia). However, it turns out the real thing is easier said than done and shenanigans ensue, which leads to a lot of derping around.

This is basically what I did today haha.

The sprites up top are Lime, PT, MH, and Narf. PT and MH have 4 letter names but are jerks so they won't tell everyone else their actual names. Lime thinks PT's name is Pete Thompson because everything about PT is PT (his title is the Prince of Time...yeah)

I also was bored and came up with scythe alchemizations for Lime. There are 5 more I came up with but they're alchemized much later and are complex in design.

Finally, a series of panel edits with Lime and PT being the best moirails and Lime getting pranked by MH. It's a fact that Lime HATES bananas.
