I've been wanting to do Catwoman for a while ... i know my brother's gonna kill me because she was so iconic to him when Batman Returns came out, and i may be blaspheming her for him, cuz he was so obsessed.But oh well, now she's chubby and cutely playing with her ball of yarn!
I colored the mask and gloves with black prismacolor and the rest of her suit with this "jet black" graphite pencil that tends to give a silverish tone.
A) I didn't want to use up all that black
and
B) I think in the comics she had more of a gray suit, anyway, with black mask, gloves and boots.
I really should include the boots laying down beside her, or below her bum, just to tie in more of the black imagery, but i am not good at drawing boots or footwear ... because, as opposed to most artists out there, i like drawing barefeet so often, i don't know how to convincingly draw a shoe/boot!
But i like the image. It's fun and cute!
I printed out some images and concept sketches of Catwoman from online to get the stitches in the right places, too!

Hehe, thanks ... i took what i learned from making my Spaghetti girl and applied it to the ball of yarn, and as long as you make a bunch of lines in one direction then interrupt them by going a different direction and then interrupt THEM with ANOTHER direction and on and on, it can look pretty convincing!

This is awesome!!! I've been meaning to do a series of super-characters as bigger girls, like this, and this is just so great. Another definite favorite ^_^

Haha, thank you! Yes, i also want to do a series of big girl super heroes, but sometimes i'm intimidated and think i'll sorta screw up ... but this one was just a spark idea that i knew i had to do as soon as the idea hit, hehe!

Dude, I get intimidated too, like a lot. I have this vision of people attacking me with pitchforks and fire and stuff if I dare draw their favorite superheroes as gorgeous, curvy women. That actually happened to me already at the ~teentitans group I belong to, I submitted this picture - [link] and many people freaked out on me for making her "fat." I don't think she's fat there. People are so stupid.
Anyway, may the-powers-that-be give us strength to defy those people and draw all the BBW superheroines we desire!!!

You're right ... she's not fat there at all! It makes you wonder how people have gotten their perspective ... is anything larger than a praying mantiss fat? That's what it seems many sad, misguided people think ...
But yah, i have a friend at work who was showing me his favorite character in a Final Fantasy game saying, "You ever want to see the hottest anime character, do a search for 'Rikku'." So, i did a search and she just looked like an asexual barbie-doll to me. He then said, "If you ever make her into a chubby girl, i'm gonna have to kill you!" I just laughed and told him she might actually be attractive if i did!
Yes, i do want that strength to defy ... cuz i really want to do Wonder Woman some day!!

If you did a fat Wonder Woman you would be my hero FOREVER. Seriously. She's my favorite super-person (even though I'm more into Marvel than DC). I even have all of the 70's tv show 
And yes, Rikku does look like an asexual stick figure. She looks less asexual in Final Fantasy X-2, but still is a stick figure. I say draw her as a gorgeously voluptuous girl just to spite your friend and his idiocy ^_^
.....Say, what do you think about a fat super-woman art trade?As in I request one from you, and you request on from me, and we both get happy presents. I think it would be fun and motivating for both of us on our path to confidence

Hmmm ... that does sound fun! Hmmmm ... i wonder what super-woman to ask for .... Have you heard of Lady Death comics? Herself or Pergatori would be cool, but my brother was more into them than i was ... i have no nostalgic tie to them except that they would be hot if they were fatter, hehe!
Hmmm ... Black Cat from Spiderman could be cool, too ... I haven't seen comic books in ages ... I'm trying to think if there was an X-Woman i really liked ... I can't remember any other than Psylocke, Rogue and Jean ... but i never liked Jean, and Rogue was also my brother's ... oh yah, there's Storm ... i never felt anything for her, hehe. Mystique would be cool plump - as a replacement for Ugly Romijn-Stamos, hehe.
Hmmm ... what would you want? And maybe list a few that i've missed of any comic women ... i'm just drawing a blank!
