Description
You know that Jason Mraz song that just gets stuck in your head and drives you crazy, called "The Geek in the Pink"? Well, my mind always replaces the word "Pink" with "Freak".Probably partly because those are the nicknames of a couple of african-tribe type warriors in the later volumes of my Favorite Book Series: The Black Company by Glen Cook. Plus, it was also the name of a semi-recent picture by *nickyflamingo
Anyhoo, all these combined made me realize i really need to draw a picture of a beautiful, sexy couple of types of girls: A Geek and a Freak! So, yah. Here they are. They're not modelled after anyone i've seen, just random trying to make 2 very different shapes in one image, (because i've been accused of drawing the same body type a lot).
Some of you may have seen them in my scraps uncolored, sooooo ... here they are colored!!! The scanner really sucks the life out of the colors, though ... so don't shoot me.
A tribute to all the beautiful geek girls and freak girls, and geeky-freaky girls, out there, hehe!

Thank you very much! And you're welcome! And yah, he and i used to talk a bit a few years back. His later stuff is a little bigger than i would consider healthy, but everyone has their limits. I try to stay within a realistic, healthy proportion. If not healthy-healthy, then at least not to the point of glorifying actual unhealthy obesity.
I really like the shape of the women he does when in the range i personally prefer, but i've noticed they're always the same shape. I also try to change it up, make sure different body shapes are included.
Sorry, now i feel like i'm just ranting and comparing, haha. Anyway, yup, heard of him, and i respect his work, even if a lot of his new stuff does not appeal to me personally.

That's the term we used before "emo" - which just sounds retarded to me compared to "gothic". But we also made fun of the whole "goth" depression stuff. While i never considered myself gothic, i did consider myself a "freak" back in the days i wore more black, and wore eye-make-up and black nail polish (i'm a guy).

tumblr seems to be getting just as popular as facebook. More and more artists are also taking their art to tumblr opposed to posting it here on deviantart. Personally I dont follow many people, or pot things on my own, I only have an account to follow art and webcomic blogs
