“Awkward Sibling Dance?”

Good to end on the happy one. The two teens are total cuties, and still so happy to be so close. Beautiful outfit on Mabel, displaying her flair with the dress top and diaphanous layers; the feather and chain earrings are great too.

Dipper's looking a little nervous about things, and I don't mean his shirt being untucked. However it's Mabel that has so many hints of anxious anticipation: her left foot turned on its side, arms behind her back, and especially the fact that she just turned away so quickly. Yes, I can see that her earrings are just about reaching the far end of their swing from the sudden turn of her head yet her hair, being much longer, heavier, etc. has barely started to move to catch up. So we know it was instantaneous, and she started with her face pretty much facing right at him.

So awesome job with the dynamic work and also the emotional cues. Now if only we knew why they suddenly were so self-conscious with each other here...
