Thallo is the third Greek goddess of the Hours, she is the daughter of Zeus, king of the gods and Themis, a Titanide. Their role was essential in governing life on Earth and guiding humans. Its name means βfloweringβ in Greek since Thallo occurs at the end of the winter solstice, to accompany the awakening of nature at the end of the cold hours. It reactivates the sap of dormant plants, restarts the hatching of buds, flowering and the growth of vegetation. The personification of spring, Thallo celebrates the light and new energy that replaces the darkness of winter.
