FIRST PICTURE OF THE YEAR

A late late x-mas gift request thingy for because she was the winner of the holiday raffle. I meant to get it in by the 25th of december but it didn't quite work out that way.

Kaya's an amazing Inu-Yasha based character really Much research went into this pic before I started. Fascinating, you should go read her profile here: [link] I put her in kind of an angsty mood so the whole thing is kinda dark. Then I thought it was a bit depressing so I slapped on the brushes (butterly fields) and the lyrics to the 6th Inu-Yasha ending Fukai Mori (since it seemed appropriate.)

Anywho... I hate my minimalistic shading and backgrounds, BUT it did turn out ok. Miraculously. Yay for more correct anatomy. My last wolfy had a tail bigger than his head -__- so in an attempt to correct myself... tada! And the only things bright should be the moon and her shikon no tama shards, (the moon was yellow before... EWW!!)

See? I do put 100% in everything I do (for others) even if it is a request

oh and this is like a test run of a new commission option XD
