Description I figured with winter & Christmas coming up, this would be a perfect wallpaper!

Can't remember where I found it, but ain't it cute! ^^ I also made the "My Computer", "My Documents" and "Recycle Bin" icons from little IY GIFs I've found on the internet... :3

Wow, Miroku's a good sculptor...!

Of course! He secretly had a hobby in sculpting, before he joined their group...

Ah, thank ya! I'll have to check that site & see if it seems familiar... (I believe the image is a shitajiki scan that was made into a wallpaper, so it shouldn't be too terribly difficult to track down...)

I'm sure once he's done sculpting it, the snow will be 'disfigured' by his constant patting

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-16 02:12:09 +0000 UTC]

XD Never thought of that!! (I'll bet he didn't either...XP), but you've got a good point! Poor snow-Sango won't have any shape left...! *lol*
Well, on second thought, it looks like he's about to get some, er... injuries from the real Sango though, so the sculpture might actually survive! XD

I just hope for the 'Sno-go' that she doesnt have the unfortunate downfall of Inu Yasha's Yellow Snow Technique
And I know how Miroku feels, for Halloween i thought it would be a good idea to be him and taly around with a girl dressed as Sango... my beautiful face
(yeah...me good looking, LOL!)

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-17 23:53:15 +0000 UTC]

XD (Oh Lord, that "Inu-Yellow-snow" thing just ruined that wallpaper for me... )
Haha, seriously? You were Miroku for Halloween? Cool! We had a Halloween art show at my college, and I went as an Egyptian priestess... ^^ I had the whole ensemble- a banded collar (those beaded necklace things that went all the way out to their shoulders), a brass cobra armband, "Eye of Horus" earrings, the eyeliner, and a most-likely-authentic/ancient Horus wrist amulet! However, I was upstaged by my Art History instructor, who did a fantastic job dressing like a used-car salesman... o.o;;

Tenchin In reply to Linake [2005-01-18 02:26:24 +0000 UTC]

Oh, sounds sexy, the whole exotic-egyptian look is quite attractive. Though, apparently, hairy car salesman is the in look for the kids. I ould have gotten into the whol costume if I were to stab myself in the hand, but I only wanted the look for a day

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-18 04:30:55 +0000 UTC]

Ehh, yeah, probably best that you DIDN'T get into the character that much... (though I guess you could've just painted a black circle on your palm and gotten away with it... )
I was debating between the Egyptian look and going as someone from the "Matrix" (I decided to go to the show at the last minute, so I just had to work with what I already had... However I am looking at having someone make me a Priss Asagiri cosplay outfit for an upcoming con, and for my 21st B-Day celebration.... )

But it would be cool to suck up any people I didnt like :can imagine how empty his school would be:

I definetly think the egyptian look is more orignal then going as a Matrix Char.As for cosplaying, I havent done much, mor elike near to nothing. Just a pic from ages ago when I went as a character of mine. And Happy B-day, when will it be?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-18 05:18:07 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, probably, though my Art His. instructor probably saw it coming... (I'd just brought in a box full of statues/papyri/etc. of mine for "visual aid" in his class when we did the unit on Ancient Egypt... ) And I've never actually cosplayed either, I just figured that I look enough like her that I can pull it off with little effort. XD (And I wanted a fun "B-day, go-out-partying" ensemble. XP Which, it's May 31, by the way! ^^ When's yours?)

Tenchin In reply to Linake [2005-01-18 05:23:46 +0000 UTC]

Heh, my birthday is June 4th, not far from yours. Cosplaying is such a new area for me. I have no idea how to make peices to outfits and accessories. It seems so difficult All I have is my Miroku costume from halloween, even that I feel bashful in.

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-19 18:31:16 +0000 UTC]

Hey, don't feel bad, I'm new to cosplaying also! I never have, but I've been invited to a con this May, so I think that'll be a good time to take a shot at it...XD (I've finally almost saved up enough to commission an outfit from some friends of mine down in Florida that make all my plushies... )
Here's a few pics of the character that I'm wanting to cosplay-- Priss Asagiri from "Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040" (it's like the equivalent of "Weiß Kreuz", except with women in mecha-suits. Let me guess, "Yay!", right? XP)

Tenchin In reply to Linake [2005-01-19 20:27:25 +0000 UTC]

Heh, well usually my response would be "Yay!" but since you said that WOOHOO.
And that character appeals to me, The drawing style is very cool and she seems pretty badass. But tell me, are you going to have them make the whole mech suit or just the casual outfit X3

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-20 05:21:07 +0000 UTC]

XD Oops, I cut you off too soon, huh?
I love it! ^^ I just got the first DVD this past weekend, and it's one of the best-animated series that I've come across yet! :3 I noticed a few similarities to "Tenchi Muyo", and, sure enough, they're both animated by AIC studios... ^^ But I recommend it as well! (I just picked Priss out since she's the anime character that I probably look the most like anyway I wouldn't need to pay extra for a funky-styled wig or anything)

Erm... methinks I'll just get the casual outfit... XP (Good Lord, how much of a paycheck do you think I get?? XD)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tenchin In reply to Linake [2005-01-21 02:00:58 +0000 UTC]

Tenchi Muyo... ah the good old days. I miss some of the shows that Toonami used to run. Its what opened me to Anime to begin with. ( Instead of looknig like Tenchi I wish i had girls like Tenchi X3)

Heh, you could always make it from tin cans

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-21 19:14:44 +0000 UTC]

I miss the old Toonami too...during the era of "Tenchi" and "Sailor Moon"... *sob* Ah well, at least I can catch "Inu" and "Wolf's Rain" (Crud, that reminds me, I gotta get off my lazy butt and finish that drawing of Blue... )

Tin cans?? XD Yeah, so then everyone at the con could hear me coming from a quarter-mile away, I'd sound like I was wearing a knight's suit of armor... XD I can just hear it now, "Hey look! Someone's coming! Sounds like they're dressed like Alphonse from 'Fullmetal Alchemist'!!" xP

Tenchin In reply to Linake [2005-01-22 01:36:37 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but the New Toonami on Saturday has a large block of time, and they are starting to bring back some good things; like Rurouni Kenshin.

That or maybe you went as a Gundam rejected from the frontline

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Linake In reply to Tenchin [2005-01-23 04:03:23 +0000 UTC]

Seriously?? When? Is that the midnight-ish block of Toonami?

XD By the time I made the thing, I don't think anyone could identify where the suit came from anyway! XP (Pfft... a rejected Gundam... )
