Today was one of my best friend´s birthday, so I gave her a drawing of one of her favorite video game characters: Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series.She also loves the movies...And Angelina Jolie for portraing her.
I drew her based on the 2013 reboot game.
Lara´s awesome...Eternal woman!
Black markers, black ink and color pencils.

I haven't really played any of the Tomb Raider games, but I did play a Tomb Raider 3 demo and played Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness when I was a child, but this is one awesome drawing of Lara Croft, great job as always, Lina!

I've known Lara Croft since the PSX days. Damn, me and cousins would play the first games and juat get stuck with the tigers, or roam around the mansion with that creepy butler following us. Memories huh?
The movies were actually pretty good, I loved the first one, but the second kinda disappointed me. I think it was the male love interest, it didn't have one in the 1st movie so I dunno.
BUT ANYWAYS, I really wanna try out her new game. They say she kicks some serious ass there and it looks so cooooooooool as well. Like, she struggles in the beginning and all that cool stuff that make her more human. *ramble ramble*
AND IT'S A GREAT PIECE! I think I can already sense the 'different style' you mentioned. Maybe it's just me though

I've actually still got a lot of games to play so I'm not sure if I'll pick this game up any time soon from a local game store. Surely the price is now pretty low but still, too many games and so little time o.O
