*shot for unoriginal title* I was listening to "SUMMER TIME" by NEWS Dx
I hate backgrounds and backgrounds hate me
I guess this would have taken me almost 6 hours...? But then again, I was watching "Kimi ni todoke" while I was working xD (Kazehaya~~~~
)First time I'm drawn something so...revealing xD. It was a challenge because...well...anatomy mistakes are more obvious when characters are wearing less clothing.
Girls are Kari (left) and a new OC (I won't tell you her name because I still might change it...xD). Her hair supposed to remind you of an apple-kind of...(see-with the green things like leaves xD)
So who do you prefer? *shot*
I haven't been drawing much so this was supposed to get me starteeeeeeed >: D

Your background is nice! You dont need something complicated to make it beautiful ^^.
As for anatomy, I always struggled myself! Best thing you can do is practice anatomy a lot or get someone to model for you XD

great study of anatomy here. And i love how you did the clouds. What did you use? photoshop? and man you really need to teach me how you do the colouring, cos like i've never been able to do clean lines and that sort of shading

I use the pen tool on photoshop for the lines...it gives you clean lines...but it's so time consuming. Man, YOU'VE gotta teach me how to draw awesome realism (cos whenever I try, it always looks way too anime-like)! xD

ok, we'll teach each other! Tho it's hard cos realism is what always came natural to me. I would start by looking at other people's artworks in that style, some of them are seriously amazing (e.g. stuff in my fav.). And pen tool, doesn't that take forever? do you have a tablet?

Yeah. It does take forever...making lineart is my least favourite part of drawing :/ I have no tablet ;A; Just me and my mouse.
