The composition and technicalities of this image are really good, Linda. The use of the staircase to frame the girl is excellent, and the cat at the top! The candle between the hands is a clever technical achievement - I looked at the originals to ensure for myself that the candle was not there to begin with!. The pumpkins and bats - neatly placed. I keep asking myself how you do these - you must have some background in design, art, composition!

I promise, no background in art; nothing at all before I joined this site almost two years ago. All I know I learned from you, and from Steve , mostly....as well as observing art...and just placing images by...'sense', I'd guess you'd say.

I'm shaking my head in amazement, Linda. Given your talents, I do think that you should look to other narratives - you have the skills and visual insights, and you would bring a fresh interpretation to, say, the Expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden or The Myth of Sisyphus.
