So Jack and I got a membership to the Zoo and we went there on Wednesday. I was rather disappointed as many of the animals, (with it still being early morning I guess) were still sleeping and/or hiding from people as far as they could possibly get from us. Plus there was a lot of double fencing to many enclosures that was not there many years ago back in the early 1990’s when I was last there. So taking photos was not easy; due to the distance, and/or the fencing getting in the way. Add to that, parents don’t much watch their kids ( probably why all the fencing now! ) And they smack their hands all over the glass leaving smear marks everywhere - so the pictures are anything but clear. Why do some people let their kids behave this way?
Anyway… Perhaps we’ll go again, we did buy the membership after all. ( I’m not really gungho though about the idea to tell you the truth - screaming kids everywhere - I thought I was getting out of having to be around them by going on a week day - didn’t I get fooled! Two field trips were there, from different schools.
