Ehh, not my best, but I'm tired of fiddling with the file.Old sketch from my sketchbook, now colored.
Toriningen and Madotsuki as well as Yume Nikki were made by Kikiyama
These are my interpretation of the sprites.
You should play it, it's made with RPG maker, 16bit style and sort of an exploration game. You walk around a sorta psychedelic, fucked up world and collect items.
It's not much of a 'game' I guess, but I really like to walk around in the different worlds, so cool!

Yume Nikki has it's creepy moments, but since it's only a pixel game, I don't think it's that scary.
If you like exploring worlds in games, this game is for you.

For all I know, some Toriningen aren't hostile until you stab them with a knife, then their eyes get pink and they chase you. If they reach you, you'll get teleported to some area where you can't escape from (so you have to pinch your cheek and wake up). as far as I know, you don't get a chance to stab them before they teleport you? At least that's how it's always been with them when I tried to stab them.

I used the fastest speed-glitch...
Sitting on the chair by the desk, choosing the bicycle and going off the chair...
But once you take out the knife it has to be done all over again....
They still scare me...

Fantastic illustration! It's great to see people finding inspiration from some of the less-popular features and sceneries from this game, great to see it done in a style other than anime too! I love the way you drew the Toriningen creature and you did excellent interpreting the flooring of the Numbers World.

I'm glad to hear you like the style I used, too! I really like semi-realistic styles (although I do like some more realistic manga/anime styles, too)!
I really like the idea of being able to see in other room parts below by looking through the floor.

The Toringen looks really good, but Madotsuki looks a little bit... off. Perhaps I am just used to seeing her represented as an anime girl.

I guess a lot of people choose some anime style to go with YN fanart, I used my somewhat semi-realistic style, maybe that's why it's standing apart?
