Hoof-beats and bells heralded the arrival of a yak-train with supplies for the mountain village. Upon hearing the sounds she turned, with a moment's curiosity, towards her small, kitchen window.In Muktinath, a high mountain village, Nepal Himalayas. A retrospective image. 100 ASA Fujichrome FILM.

Edit, October,11,2013 : Hello my friends, as I work with an old computer and have only recently seen the difference between the color of my screen and how an image looks on modern screens, I am reposting some of my images while I've access to a newer screen, with edited images in colors and tones as close as possible to the original film image. I hope you like the improvement, I'm sorry that you've not been seeing images as they should be seen. ... wishing you days filled with smiles, my friends. β‘

I visit dA every day, but now as I still have only an old computer, I'm blocked from many activities (including comments ) most of the time so I can't do much. Just now, I have the use of a modern computer for a few days and, as my "Edit" note on my posts mentions, I suddenly saw how different my work looks on newer computers, so I've been making my posts look more like they do on my old machine's screen and how they SHOULD look. It's been good to be a little active on dA these last days, but today I must return the newer computer, then I won't be able to do much online again. Just know that I'm "still here", though i may not be able to make posts, because I can't actually "see" how my work looks, it's cry difficult to make posts, if at all, usually I can't do it, and also, mostly, my old computer is now so slow, I just don't have time for much other than creating my designs and artwork as I build up a portfolio of my work.
So, thank you for your welcoming greeting Lucila and please understand, I'm still at dA often, I just can't do much, that's all. I miss all my dA friends and the good feeling of the community here.

Perhaps you may enjoy to see some other of my work ( the reason I've the modern computer for a few days,- to work on the website, as I can no longer access the site editor with my old computer also ) ... lindelcaine.wix.com/lindelcain⦠ ... Though I'm sorry, the site is not completely ready yet. ... the designs are mostly for printing on fabrics/textiles and other surfaces... other artwork and photography will be for fine art prints.
