Description A Buraq supposedly brought Mohammed up to the heavens in stories. It represents divine love.

The traditional Buraq is a horse with donkey ears, a peacock tail, peacock wings, and a human head. However, I substituted the human head for a horse head :U

Its for my drawing final. Seriously, it took like 80 hours of work. It's 48" x 72", so it's pretty big. We had to take a story and make it our own while adding ourselves into it somehow. I'm catching a feather from the Buraq in the corner. Ah, I suck at drawing people D:

The whole thing is done in graphite and had to be crosshatched. So it took FOREVER. D:
