firstly I searched google for a wolf photo and found a great photo of a mexican wolf now I tried finding it again and I couldn't find it so I cannot post a link to it.photo reference was used, made with prisma coloured pencils in about 10 hours.
this is a photograph taken of the finished piece which turned out kind of dark so I cleaned up the shadowy background and I'm pretty sure I lightened up the whole drawing. So it's not too accurate to the original colour wise but it's not too bad.
he's one of my favorite creations thus far. enjoy!

This is an Extreeemely accurate depiction, because usually when artists are faced with extreme detail...fatigue usually causes us to unconsciously create patterns in the artwork that don't exist in life; but that's far from the case here. The millions of fur hairs seems to function independently but still blend to form,well a.... Mexican wolf lol.
