Hey everyone! Here's a quick basilisk sketch (about 2 hours) taking a break from chores and other work. Was a ton of fun to paint, and I know I always say this, but I need to make more time for personal creature stuff like this, because it's so much fun to do. By the way, Airdramon is still in the works for those who are wondering, it's just taking me a while to paint him up because of work and other priorities. I am hoping to have him finished in a week.

Yeah for sure. All of my best work has come from getting into that mode where you are listening to music and barely even thinking about what you are doing. I certainly wish I could get into that same flow for every project I work on, but whenever it does click like that it seems to be at very unexpected times haha.

The scales on the face and the jaws look fantastic. Love those naturalistic-looking textures.
