Hey everyone, here is another sketch for the night! I am revisiting an older concept of mine that I still really like, I just never took him further.
I also like how I went about painting this guy, but too bad I don’t remember how the hell I went about it. Doh.

Well, it is a number of things... First it's neck. The head looks like it is leading to a thick, broad neck. This gives the impression that the creature is solid and muscular. The texture of the skin looks to me to be like stone, or natural armor. The horns and teeth speak for themselves. Good luck to the poor fools who go up against this thing.
I imagine that dragons are somewhat like reptiles. They might hatch from eggs and are independent from birth. Their early years are spent mostly in hiding because they are small and vulnerable, but when grown they rise to fearsome power.
