Edit: People, please stop asking why this is a scrap. It's a scrap because it is unfinished. It is a scrap because it is nearly 3 years old. It is a scrap because I said so, so stop asking.I actually started this a while ago, back in the month of May 2005. Except, just like many of my artworks, I got bored of it and scrapped it. (As you can tell, since the neck isnβt quite finished with the shading.
)So going through my artwork folder again, I came across this and decided to post it since I am not going to be posting any of my other deviations soon.

It's great for me too, I love getting being inspired and getting a good laugh at myself when I look at much older pieces. It brings up comments like "damn I really have improved", "what the hell, how did I think this was good", and "lol, what is that arm doing".
Ah yes, great times.

Probably my favorite genre of fantasy creature~
Ever since I watched the original Dragonheart, where the voice actor for the Dragon was Sean Connorey. I thought Dragons were epic before, but that movie definitely marked the beginning of my passion. x3

I absolutely loved that movie as a child, I even got all the dragon action figures to go along with it. Aww...good memories.

But, when you think about it, I'm being completely self serving.
I'm looking at the rest of your art becuase it amuses me and brings me pleasure. And besides, half MY work comes from looking at some one elses and going...

-Two hours later-
My roommate: "Oh, Wow, that's a awesome bush you're drawing there. What are you going to put in the forground?"
Me: "It's a lion..." *fail*
Roommate: "oh..."
-The Next Day-
My Bestest Freind: "Wow! That is an awesome drawing of a turtle you have there!"
Me: "you think it's awesome?"
BF: "HELL YES!!!"
Me: "It's a lion..."
BF: "It is?"

BF: ... "I think you need new glasses."

In some cases it is. Like, I wouldn't try to finish a scribble I did when I was 5 years old with my current skill level. If I tried and finished this it would be like two different styles, it'd be easier to just redue it (which isn't going to happen). See?

Well,, i would love too see a redo of that, but redos are rarely as good as the original. But you look like redoing that should be easy for an rtist at your skill level.
