Hello everyone!
I can proudly announce that it's time for a new contest! Yay Ever since my last contest back in 2014 I've been wanting to organize another and I've finally gathered the points to make it a BIG one too!
The theme of the contest will be to draw my characters



  • Any kind of visual art is allowed: traditional, digital, animation, plushies (would die if someone did this >3<), sculptures, etc etc!
  • No literature, sorry. I don't feel like anyone could capture my characters well enough ;o;
  • No NSFW please, mild or artistic nudity is okay.
  • Gore is allowed! =3
  • You can draw multiple characters together (I very much encourage this ^^)
  • You can make as many entries as you want (only one can win).
  • No tracing, using bases or heavy referencing of other artworks. All art has to be made by you! (You're free to use references tho).
  • Please mention me and link my contest in the description of your work.
  • Only art made specifically for this contest can be entered, meaning no previous gifts/art-trades/commissions/etc can be entered.
  • Please share the contest in a journal, poll or status post!! The more people enter, the more prizes unlock

Because traditional art is often underrated (and often not used in contests) and I just adore it, I want to encourage people to draw more traditionally too Also for the people who don't have access to digital art programs or drawing tablets, I want to give these people a chance of winning something as well.

Awarded to the entry with the best dark atmosphere.
I am in love with dark themed drawings and because I see that most people who draw for a contest go for the cuteness, I want to encourage more people to do something different and explore the darkness (Of course I love cute drawings too haha)

:bademoticon: 3) Crazy Creator :bademoticon: 
Awarded to the most original entry.
Originality is everything! I very much prefer to have my characters doing something instead of just standing there. This prize is to reward people who try something unexpected and make more of a challenge out of it

Awarded to the most heart-warming entry of a couple.
I can't help myself but I would love to see couple art of my oc's >w<

6 more prizes will be awared to my favorite entry of each of the main characters. One prize for each of them. Again, these prizes will be awarded to people who did not yet win any previous prize, unless of course, only one person drew the character and did already place, then it'll go to this one person.
Characters included for this prize are: Ghirehym, Fiora, Desthroc, Zelda, Dood and Corra.

I will judge the contest together with my friend Cuddens. She will be making a drawing for the contest too, but doesn't participate for the prizes. We will judge based on:

  • Creativity: Is the character doing something interesting or just standing there?
  • Effort: Backgrounds, shading, multiple characters, these all add up for effort ^^
  • Accuracy: Does the drawing feel natural to the character or are they portrayed very different than they are? Feel free to ask questions if you're unsure!
  • Overall impact: what impact does it have on me, does it leave me breathless, can it make me cry or laugh? All of the above factors will probably contribute to this one.

(Most character profiles are still in progress. Because it takes a looooong time to write up all the info for everyone, I will be updating this as the contest is going. If you need specific info for a specific character, feel free to ask me to update them first!)

Things I'd like to see. These may help you to score better, but not at all necessarily.
The winner might just as well ignore all of these and still win

  • Backgrounds! They add so much to a drawing… °0°
  • Action! Always more interesting to see some action
  • Interaction! Ooh I love to see my babies together <3
  • Drama! Feel free to put them through hell (I love to do that too ehehh)
  • Dark themes! I love them ^v^
  • Couples! Imma sucker for my ships kay…
  • Anyway, again, feel free to ignore these and just use your own creative juices


  • Quick overview of all oc's in fullbody  : Might help to make a quicker pick if you can see the character's entire design and not just their face
  • List of couples!  : Here you can find all characters that can be drawn together in a romantic way. I also added crack ships that aren't canon in the story, so there's plenty of choice >.<

Q: Can I ask questions about characters?

A: Of course! I'll be happy to answer any questions! The better you know the character, the better you can portray them. So I'd rather have you ask questions than not ^^


Q: Can I draw character X with character Y?

A: The most important relationships are listed for each character, however, don't feel limited to these. More characters meet each other during the books. I will allow any characters to be drawn together, even if they don't meet, so no worries there. Feel free to ask about relationships!


Q: Do I have more chance of winning if drawing your favorite character?

A: Nope. I will judge all entries equally, no matter which character you draw! c: 

Heck who knows, maybe the winner will draw my least favorite one (I love all my babies anyway >3<)


Q: I don't have inspiration! QAQ

A: Feel free to ask me for a scene for a character or situation for interactions or anything, I'll gladly help you out!


Q: I don't have time to read the whole profile, can I ask for information that may be in there already?

A: Sure! I know my explanations for some characters are really long so I can imagine it being overwhelming haha


Q: Can I have more reference of X (character detail, item, pet etc.)?

A: I will try my best to give you more reference if necessary. I can't promise I'll be able to always do so tho!


Q: Can I draw my oc(s) with your oc(s)?

A: No, sorry. I want to keep it to the listed oc's only.


Q: I see more characters in your gallery. Can I draw them too?

A: Not for this contest! This one is limited to my book characters only, as they're the ones I currently love most. There's plenty of choice, so this shouldn't be a problem


Q: Can points prizes be converted to USD?

A: I cannot convert them myself, sorry. However, you can set up a commission widget so I can donate them there and deviantart can convert them for you


Q: Can I draw your characters in a different outfit?

A: Yes you can! So long as it fits the character, feel free to make changes on their outift or give them an entirely new one. The only thing I ask is that the character should still be recognizable

Hello! You have all rights to complain and I don't see it as rude at all. The judging has been done (finally!) and I'm now working on the announcement journal. I'm sorry that it got delayed this much but my life has been so busy with school work I literally didn't have time to check deviantart for longer than 10 mins most days I should be done with all of it at the very last by thursday, maybe sooner, but I won't promise anything since my days are still crazy full with work Thank you for understanding

Same ahah. A friend used to ask me everyday about the results, he only gave up like 3 days ago lol. 
I guess the judges are busy irl, which is understandable. I just wish we'd have more updates ^^'
In 2 weeks, they've updated only once saying it would be done this week. Though we're Sunday already with no additional news :'D
I try not to worry too much but I still check everyday for news ahah.

Sorry for the late reply! Animations can definitely increase your chances of winning We won't be judging solely on the skill level of the entries, but also how well they represent the character, how much effort there was put into it etc.

Lemis-Lu would probably be about 1 meter long. If he sits in a normal position (like in the reference) his height would be about 30 cm. I have this old drawing you could use as a reference 001.1 - Kopie
