It was my first Sonic game. And many reasons why I became a fan was because of the Dreamcast/GameCube era. After the 4kids era the only thing I enjoyed as of the current is Generations and 2 kart racers, Sonic Team Racing would make 3. I don't think that says much honestly. Here's to hoping Sega/Sonic Team is finally getting their act together.

I'm made mostly because Cream doesn't appear much anymore and Amy is doesn't have a team anymore. It's always Teams Sonic, Dark, and Chaotix plus Silver and Blaze, but no Big and Cream. Sonic Team Racing has crossed the line by replacing Cream with those darn chaos.

Our only hope now is possible DLC characters. And maybe even borrowing other Sega characters similar to Sonic Riders. The TSR roster is the biggest problem that needs to be addressed. We got Big, I'm honestly fine with the Chao but Cream & Cheese getting brushed to the side like they don't exist, it's not cool. THAT would've been my question for Aaron if I was at the SXSW panel 2 weeks ago!

I'd say it looks nice but IDK what the heck is up with sonics B U F F chest. I don't really get Amy being the central focus along with sonic when she really didn't do jack in the story overall. Either way, it's pretty good, I just can't get my eyes off Sonic's bod.Β

She really didn't contribute much aside from setting up Gamma's arc and holding onto a bird. Sure, she beat up Zero, but he didn't really interfere with anyone elses arcs. In general, she didn't really contribute much to the main plot of the game with Chaos and the emeralds.Β

She's not exactly pointless, but compared to some of the other characters, she doesn't do much. Thinking about it, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are the 3 that impact the story most overall.Β

It's the game!
Fantastic work as usual, love the characters in their own panels, special mention should go to Robotnik and Tails, plus the background swirls are great, indicative of both Sonic's ball form and the Dreamcast's symbol. Last but not least, Tikal's spirit form looks especially good, I think this is one of the best ways to interpret it in 2D. I love this from top to bottom! X3
